3-month ROBOR Index continues upward trend, reaches new highest level in three years

The 3-month ROBOR Index, he average interest rate on which Romanian banks borrow from each other, has grown on Monday to 1.85%, up from 1.84% last Friday, the National Bank of Romania (BNR) informs.

The 6-month ROBOR Index, used for mortgage loans, is steady at 2.02%, the same level as at the end of last week.

The 9-month ROBOR Index has also remained at the former level, at 2.08%.

In early September the 3-month ROBOR Index was 0.92% and early this year 0.87%.
