The road traffic will be affected in Romania for four days starting on Thursday, 9 a.m. by the military convoys attending the NATO Noble Jump exercise conducted in Romania, Bulgaria and Greece.
Eight convoys of the Very High Readiness Joint Task Force that are to join the Noble Jump 2017 military exercise arrive in Romania on Thursday from Bulgaria.
The military convoys consist each in about 300 soldiers with over 150 fight vehicles and transporters which will go to the Training Center of the Land Forces “Getica” in Cincu, Brasov county.
Therefore, on June 1, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. the military convoys will go on E85 Giurgiu-Bucharest, on Bucharest-Pitesti (A1)- Ramnicu Valcea (E81)-Sibiu-Cincu route on June 2 from 1 a.m. to 6 p.m., on Giurgiu-Bucharest (E85) route on June 3, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Bucharest-Piteşti (A1)-Râmnicu Vâlcea (E81)-Sibiu (Olt Valley)-Cincu route on June 4 from midnight to 3 p.m.
Police officers recommend all those travelling on these routes to drive carefully and observe traffic rules and police officers’ signals.
