Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB)’s main index BET and BET Total Return (BET-TR) had both an increase of 0.33 percent in November, a press release informs.
Thus, last month the turnover in shares was RON 691.70 million (EUR 153.38 million), a decrease of almost half compared to October, when the total turnover was RON 1,428.20 million (EUR 317.46 million).
In the first eleven months of the year, the total turnover in shares was RON 8,456.89 million, 3.21 percent higher than the same period of 2015.
Average daily equity trading value was in November RON 32.94 million (EUR 7.30 million), compared to RON 68.01 million (EUR 15.12 million) in October. Since the beginning of the year, average daily equity trading on BVB was RON 36.14 million (EUR 8.05 million), 2.32 percent higher than in same period of the last year.
The market capitalization of all companies listed on BVB was RON 138.07 billion (EUR 30.57 billion) in November 2016. Out of this amount the market capitalization of Romanian companies was RON 72.35 billion (EUR 16.02 billion).
In November, the most traded five shares were: Banca Transilvania (TLV), Fondul Proprietatea (FP), Romgaz (SNG), OMV PETROM S.A. (SNP) and BRD – Groupe Societe Generale (BRD) with a total value of more than RON 595.85 million.
