Further on, EMEA Conference invited speakers – Peter Trepte, Roger Bickerstaff and Aris Georgopoulos – UK specialists, practitioners and professors in Public Procurement, who have provided analysis and solutions on hot topics in Public Procurement, such as: bid exclusions based on poor past performance and grave professional misconduct; Effects of the new Data Protection Regulation on public procurement procedures; Competition implications with respect to bid rigging) in public procurement procedures.IMG_8943-FB-2

EMEA conference’s intention was to allow the Romanian audience interested in the public procurement topic to interact with foreign experts in this field, sharing up-to-date analysis and solutions, both theoretical and practical, based on actual examples from European Court of Justice’s practice.

The lunch was a good opportunity for networking and sharing ideas, for both the speakers and the participants.

The conferences ended with a Q&A session with all the speakers. The audience discussed with the speakers about real life examples observed in their practice, focusing on the European legislation’s transposition in Romanian law.
