A mechanism aimed at monitoring the implementation of the ordinance on the Tax Code amendments, as well as the changes in the field of social dialogue, was set up by a collaboration protocol signed by the Romanian Confederation of Free Trade Unions (CNSLR) Fratia and the Government.
The document is called “Protocol on the unitary implementation of the new legal provisions in the tax field and social dialogue” and was signed on Monday by both Prime Minister Mihai Tudose and CNSLR Fratia President Leonard Barascu, ziare.com informs.
According to the cited source, the object of the protocol is to “create a mechanism for monitoring the unitary application of the provisions of the Government Emergency Ordinance No. 79/2017 for amending and completing the Law no. 227/2015 on the Tax Code and the provisions of the Government Emergency Ordinance no. 82/2017 for amending and completing some normative acts, as well as Law no 62/2011 on social dialogue, republished, with subsequent amendments and completions.”
Thus, it is established that, at the central level, the Ministry of Labour and Social Justice will set up, according to the law, a monitoring committee consisting of four persons: a person designated by the Minister of Labour and Social Justice, a person designated by the Minister of Public Consultation and Social Dialogue and two persons appointed by the president of CNSRL Fratia trade union.
“At county level, within each prefecture, a monitoring committee consisting of four persons will be set up: two persons designated by the prefect of the county and two persons appointed by the president of CNSLR-Fratia. As a rule, the monitoring committee is part of the prefect’s institution, which coordinates the entire activity,” the document signed by the Government and the trade union confederation reads.
