A new protest took place Wednesday evening in Bucharest, in front of the Parliament, against the vote to amend the laws of justice, under the title “Come to Parliament! NOW! #faraviolenta” (no violence), while in the Chamber of Deputies was debated Law 303/2004 on the status of magistrates, although PNL and USR have called for the postponement of the debates. The protesters chanted “Thieves”, “Dragnea in prison”, and “Early elections, early elections!” The call for protest was made by the communities “600,000 for Resistance”, “We Insist”, “Corruption kills”, “ProFest and Declic” Civic Association, hotnews.ro informs.
The climax of the protests was when the participants saw the lawmakers trying to walk out of the building, from the exhibition hall, to avoid being seen. The people headed towards them, while the gendarmes and the police tried to block them, tear gas was used once, which inflamed the spirits. People chanted “You run like rats” and “Gendarmerie defends the thieves”.
An impressive moment was when USR MPs walked out on Parliament’s door and came to talk to people.
Protests also took place in Cluj, Constanta and Iasi.
