Romanian renowned ex-football player Gheorghe Hagi would want to sell his four-star hotel in Mamaia seaside resort. The luxury Iaki hotel has 125 rooms, restaurant, conference halls, spa and pool.
According to Profit.ro, Hagi wants to sell it for EUR 9 M, after he has initially asked EUR 12 M, but he cut off the price after negotiations with several investors.
The above-mentioned source revealed that the former football player would like to invest the money in his football business-the Football Academy and the Viitorul Constanta football club.
However, the hotel’s marketing manager didn’t confirm the information.
The hotel was built in 2004 and had a turnover of EUR 3 M in 2015 and a net profit of EUR 500,000.
