Russia bans the activity of a Romanian-American foundation on its territory

The Russian authorities have banned, starting on Monday, the activity in Russia of ‘The Black Sea Trust for Regional Cooperation’, a foundation based in Bucharest.

The foundation is a project developed by the prestigious American organization ‘German Marshall Fund’ and the Romanian Foreign Ministry, romaniaactualitati.ro informs.

The foundation has been included by the Russian Ministry of Justice on the list of organizations with undesirable activities, because it “threatens the foundations of the constitutional order in Russia”.

According to the source, there are ten other foreign NGOs on the black list, most of them American, including the ‘Open Society Foundation’ founded by George Soros.
