Romanian soprano Angela Gheorghiu will perform an extraordinary concert in Constitutiei Square on Friday at 20:30 in the opening of the Bucharest Days.
The show will be a mix of music and cutting-edge technology, with the entire stage being covered with video mapping projections and lights, all creating the illusion of a 3D movie.
In a virtual tridimensional setting, Angela Gheorghiu will perform next to the George Enescu Philharmonics and to the tenor Teodor Ilincai. Maestro Eugene Kohn from New York will conduct the concert.
The programme of the Bucharest Days will continue all through the weekend, September 16-17 with video mapping shows and rock concerts in Constitutiei Square.
Access will be free at all events.
