The TAROM Board of Administration has taken notice of the resignation of Eugen Davidoiu and has appointed Florin Susanu to take over the position of interim General Manager for one month.
Eugen Davidoiu, General Manager of Tarom, resigned Monday morning. In the same morning the government control body has started checks at Tarom and at the National Investment Company.
PM Mihai Tudose discussed again, Monday morning, about Tarom’s financial situation with Transport Minister Razvan Cuc.
The resignation comes one day after Eugen Davidoiu rejected the idea of resigning from the company’s management.
His reaction came after the Transport Minister Razvan Cuc was rebuked by Prime Minister Mihai Tudose during the Government Friday meeting, regarding the losses of RON 104 million recorded by Romania’s air transporter in the first six months of this year, almost four times higher than in the same period of year last.
