Romanian economy will grow by 3.7pc in 2017, by 3.4pc in 2018 and by 3.2pc in 2019, the World Bank says in the World Economic Outlook report.
For 2016 the WB anticipates a 4.7% growth, up by 0.7% percentage points against the forecast in June last year. The outlook for the following years is unchanged.
The World Bank notices that the significant economic growth in 2016 was supported by the VAT cut, however the economic growth will stabilize in 2017.
