3.8 degrees on Richter scale quake shakes Buzau County

An earthquake with the magnitude of 3.8 degrees on Richter scale occurred Wednesday morning in Buzau County, the National Institute for Research and Development for Earth Physics (INCDFP) informs.

The quake took place at 10.39h at a depth of 135 kilometres.

Just before this quake, another one, smaller in magnitude, of 2.2 on Richter scale, occurred at 10.16h in Brasov County.

The strongest earthquake lately took place on August 2, of magnitude 4.9 on Richter scale, in Buzau County at a depth of 132 kilometres.
