A day full of music and flavours

The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Bucharest invites music lovers (and not only!) to the 1st K-Classic Concert, together with UANGEL Voice and Ensemble Cosmopolitan, on 24th of September, 2018, 18:30, at the National Theatre of Bucharest.

It is rare to come across music that actually reaches the core from within and moves your soul – but UANGEL Voice is one of those groups born out of a desire to make music that moves the heart.  In 2010, England’s daily newspaper “The Herald” gave UANGEL Voice four stars for their remarkable performance at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Continuing this trend with several concerts aimed at captivating the audience and promoting good relationships among countries, UANGEL Voice became well-known through their 2015 concert at the invitation of the Cambodian Royal Family, their performance at The Walt Disney Concert Hall, as well as through several public broadcasts at the national television. UANGEL Voice is currently on a European tour in Romania, Bulgaria and Czech Republic.

Ensemble Cosmopolitan is a string ensemble founded in Seoul, in 2010. Having their debut at Seongnam Art Center, followed by dozens of regular concerts in Busan, including the Men in Bach series and the Amadeus & Rivals series, charmed the audience with their outstanding performances. At Chamber Hall Opening Festival held in Busan Culture Center, the Ensemble was selected as the best group. Currently, Ensemble Cosmopolitan is actively performing all around the world, just like their name ‘Cosmopolitan’, having easy-to-understand and familiar music, from baroque to contemporary, appealing to all audiences.

Combining grandiose voices with strings and piano in a sweeping style that imbues songs with grandeur and energy, both UANGEL Voice and Ensemble Cosmopolitan promise an unforgettable evening for the Romanian audience!

The concert will be immediately followed by the Taste of Korea, a culinary event including the best known Korean dishes, such as Kimchi, Bulgogi, Japchae, and Dak Gangjeong.
