AFI Europe Romania enters ROGBC’s Pre-Certification phase as Green Project with AFI City’s first 2 residential buildings developed by the company in Bucharest, a press release informs.
The certification process for green homes measures eight distinct components of sustainability: environmental leadership, ongoing performance, sustainable sites, water efficiency, materials and resources, indoor environmental quality, health and wellbeing, innovation, as well as energy performance.
Achieving the pre-certification phase gets AFI City’s apartment buyers the opportunity in enrolling in the Ipoteca verde/Green Mortgage program, awarding a whole new series of benefits to future householders by certain banks as Alpha Bank Romania and Raiffeisen.
The Green Home Pre-certification phase converts AFI City in one of the residential projects of which value will rise over the years, with very tangible benefits in terms of the savings generated by improved insulation, reduced water consumption, lowering total energy consumption, more efficient heating, better air conditions or natural ventilation.
According to Tal Roma, Business Development Manager, AFI Europe Romania, the potential buyers have to take into account the Ipoteca verde program in the added appreciation value, as green homes will have the highest resale value on the residential property market.
