German-Romanian Chamber of Commerce (AHK) celebrates 15 years of successful economic relations between the two countries within the traditional Summer Feast event.
“For AHK Romania this year’s Summer Feast has a special significance: we celebrate 15 years since its establishment. There are 15 years of well-done business, mutual respect, tight business relationships built over time. Hence, Summer Feast’s motto: <We celebrate 15 Summers of Great Business>,” a press release reads.
Germany’s exports to Romania amounted to EUR 3.6 billion in the first quarter of this year, 10.9 percent more than in the same period last year, and imports of EUR 3.7 billion, up by 29.3 percent y-o-y . Germany thus remains the most important economic partner of Romania.
The most recent conjuncture questionnaire confirms the confidence of German companies in Romania: 88 percent of those surveyed would invest again on local market.
Founded in 2002, AHK Romania currently has over 550 member firms, 20 employees and 13 members in the Board of Directors, being the largest bilateral Chamber of Commerce in Romania.
