Romania’s economy is growing very fast, and Bukovina is a region that has its “strengths”, presenting new business opportunities for German investors, Cord Meier-Klodt, the Ambassador of Germany to Bucharest said in a press conference, during a working visit to Suceava County.
According to him, many areas from Romania are already facing limitations, labor shortages, infrastructure problems, pointing out that German investments are currently concentrated in Transylvania – Cluj, Timisoara or Brasov.
In his turn, the President of the Suceava County Council, Gheorghe Flutur, stated that he presented the business opportunities of the area, but also the partnership with the German region Schwaben.
”Bukovina has a huge potential in terms of culture and tradition (…) We have invited several travel agencies in Germany for an infotrip to come to see the original, “said Flutur, adding that the number of Germans tourists coming to Bukovina are getting bigger.
At the same time, he said that opportunities in Suceava are also in the medical or industrial field.
