AFI Europe Romania will start the development of AFI Tech Park, a 50,000 sqm GLA Business Park situated in close proximity to the Romanian Parliament.
According to a press release, the first phase of the project, AFI Tech Park 1, is scheduled to be delivered in Q1 2018 and will offer 20,000 sqm GLA of modern office spaces.
“After the successful completion of AFI Park 1- 5, AFI Europe Romania is targeting a new office project in Bucharest that will answer the growing work space demand of multinational companies that need to be located close to the City Centre. AFI Tech Park is an integrated business project, with excellent accessibility and visibility, due to its privileged City Central location. The tenants in AFI Tech Park will benefit from amenities and services, having 4,000 sqm of commercial areas at the ground floor of the office buildings and being situated across the street from Vulcan Retail Park and Liberty shopping mall located 300 meters away. AFI Tech Park comprises of two low rise Class A buildings and one office tower, surrounded by ample green areas, with a central plaza and gardens that will offer high technical standards, expansion options and all amenities for its future tenants. In addition, the retail area of AFI Tech Park 1 will assure immediate access to services being occupied by a supermarket, fitness club, restaurant, coffee shop, pharmacy and more.
From the technical point of view, AFI Tech Park will include typical floors spread on an area close to 3,000 sqm, especially designed for large floor plate occupiers such as BPO’s, back office operations, IT&C and financial services, direct, or outsourced operators.
The office park will be certified as LEED Platinum providing the future tenants will lower utilities consumption and expenses.
Furthermore, as with all the tenants in AFI Europe’ projects, the tenants in AFI Tech Park and their employees will be part of AFI Park Club, a unique consumer’s benefit club that offers exclusivity to special discounts in AFI Palace Cotroceni.
