80 percent of the Romanians intend to buy discounted products on Black Friday this year, reveals a recent study commissioned by one of the domestic retailers. The iVox survey commissioned by evoMAG also says that the sums of money allotted by the Romanians to buy Black Friday products have increased in the past years amid the standard of living rise. Over 26% of the respondents disclosed that they would allot over RON 1,000 to enjoy Black Friday promotions this year, with men being more willing to spend the highest sums.
Most of those intending to pay more RON 1,000 for Black Friday offers live in the city (28%).
„We notice that Romanians start to buy higher-valued products, amid the standard of living and purchase power rise. They will make no exception in Black Friday, the more they can purchase the products they want for lower prices,” said Mihai Patrascu, CEO evoMAG.
Almost 35% of the Romanian customers will allot RON 500 the most on Black Friday this year, while 20 percent intend to spend from RON 500 to RON 1,000.
Men are willing to allot more money, with 30% of them inteding to buy products whose total value exceeds RON 1,000.
At the opposite side, only 20% of women are willing to spend over RON 1,000. 45% of them choose shoppings whose value is under RON 500.
The survey was conducted October 14-15.
This year, evoMAG discoungts will be active for three days, during November 18-20. Discounts will target about 25,000 products, comprising products of all types: from TV and mobile phones, to laptops and even….cars (Ford, Skoda and Seat vehicles with discounts of 25%).
