80 pc of working staff at Belgian Siniat new plant in Turceni, already recruited

Siniat Romania, part of Belgium’s Etex Group, has completed the construction of the EUR 50 million, greenfield wallboard plant in the southern city of Turceni, Gorj County and becomes operational in October.

According to a press release, the company has taken into account the creation of 80 jobs in production facilities of the factory, for which it has already been recruited 80 percent of staff.

New employees come mainly from Turceni city but also from neighboring villages. Also, the contribution to the labor market development in Gorj county comes from creating jobs in related areas such as transport, storage or assembly.

The training of new employees takes between 2 and 11 months, depending on the position held and the type of activity. The tests of numerical and language skills, logic and personality tests provides a complex recruitment process, which meet certain specific requirements. Thus, the company is preparing a team with a high level of theoretical and practical training for plant opening.
