World hospitality group Accor has announced the expansion of its ongoing partnership with the renowned local company Construcții Erbașu. The strengthened collaboration involves the signing of hotel management agreements for two new hotels in Bucharest and Oradea, as well as the extension of the existing management agreement for ibis Styles Bucharest Erbas.
The partnership will see the introduction of the Novotel Living Bucharest Baneasa, a 150-room hotel scheduled to open in June 2025. This new concept by Accor focuses on extended stay, offering various room types with kitchenettes and flexible workspaces. The ground floor will serve as a social hub for eating, drinking, meeting, and socializing, featuring amenities such as an all-day dining area, a “cinema” room, modular meeting space, a fitness room, large parking, and an external green space. Novotel Living Bucharest Baneasa is strategically located across from Bucharest’s largest retail area, Baneasa Shopping City.
Additionally, the partnership includes the construction and operation of a 120-room ibis Styles in Oradea, with construction set to begin in Q1 2024 and the property expected to welcome its first guests in 2026.
Accor and Construcții Erbasu have also agreed to extend the existing management contract for ibis Styles Bucharest Erbas, located in the Aviației area and opened in 2018. The new agreement will be valid until 2033.
