Almost 950 Dacia, Volkswagen and Seat cars recalled to service in Romania

Renault Roumanie and Porche Romania have notified the National Authority for the Consumers’ Protection this week over the start of several campaign to recall almost 950 cars to service.

Porsche Romania’s first notification refers to the Volkswagen T-Roc model due to the back spoiler that risks coming off. The withdrawal campaign runs globally, with 355 cars being targeted in Romania. The check is free of any charge and takes about 3 to 5 hours.

Moreover, Porsche Romania is running another campaign to recall to service the Seat Ibiza and Seat Arona models, which might have some problems with the braking system. The campaign aims at 80 cars in Romania. The check takes 30 minutes and is free of any charge.

At the same time, Renault Commercial Roumanie  has kicked off the operation to recall to service the Dacia Lodgy model, as it lacks the label referring to the restrictions to use the second row car seats. 161 cars are targeted, the check is free and lasts 40 minutes.

Renault has also recalled to service some vehicles Dacia Logan II, Sandero II, Logan II MCV and the new Duster, due to a potential malfunction of the 12 V battery that can cause problems when starting the car. The free operation can take up to one hour and a half. 323 cars are targeted.

Renault is also recalling to service the models Dacia Logan I, II, Sandero II and Dokker, to check the catalyst and to see if it needs to be replaced. 30 vehicles are checked, and the operation might take longer, up to 6 hours.
