Renault Commercial Roumanie, the company that ensures the sales services for the Dacia, Renault and Nissan brands on the local market, has a new General Manager, a press release informs.
Thus, as of August 1, Algerian Hakim Boutehra (39) is replacing Czech Jan Ptacek whose name is linked to the launch of the Dacia Logan and who is appointed Executive VP Sales & Marketing AvtoVaz in Russia.
Boutehra has over 15 years of experience in commercial activity. He started his career in 2001 at Procter & Gamble Algeria, where he was sales supervisor, then regional and national sales manager.
Boutehra has joined Renault Algeria in 2004 as spare parts manager. In September 2005 he was appointed network manager and in July 2008 became Commercial Director of Renault Algeria. In 2010 he left for France, where he was appointed regional director in the West region.
In January 2013 he became Managing Director of Renault Middle East, responsible for business operations in 13 countries – a Renault subsidiary and 12 importers (Renault Iran, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, Libya, Iraq).
In his turn, Jan Ptacek (46) follows Nicolas Maure, former head of Automobile Dacia who was promoted this spring as CEO of Russia’s largest carmarker AvtoVaz.
