Bergenbier S.A., part of the Molson Coors Beverage Company, announces an important change in the company’s leadership team. Alexandru Nomicos, who since 2019 held the role of Financial Director for the beer producer, has been appointed Director of Mergers, Acquisitions and Partnerships for the EMEA APAC region. The position of Financial Director for Bergenbier S.A. was taken over by Oana Popa, who has been part of the company’s team for over a decade.

I congratulate Alexandru on his new divisional role and thank him for the five years of close collaboration, during which he came with extensive knowledge and high expertise in the financial field. Oana Popa has over 16 years of activity in the financial field and has been part of the beer producer’s team for more than 11 years, during which time she held various positions such as PPM Commercial On-trade, Planning and Performance Commercial Manager and Finance Controller. She knows the business environment, the beer industry intimately and has coordinated regional and local financial projects for the company.

Together with Alexandru Nomicos in the role of Financial Director, Bergenbier S.A. has had annual increases in turnover, developing its financial infrastructure and resilience to the challenging external factors of recent years.

Both Oana Popa and Alexandru Nomicos took over the roles of Financial Director and Director of Mergers, Acquisitions and Partnerships EMEA APAC in the middle of September this year.
