Blue Air to resume regulate flights in early July

Blue Air, the Romanian low cost airline, has announced today it is resuming regular flights as of early July, in stages, after a programme correlated with the European movement regulations.

Until then, Blue Air will operate only charters and flights on demand, depending on the travel rules specific to every destination and depending on the existing demand.

The airline says that these flights “are part of a plan of adjustment to the new economic conditions prompted by the travel restrictions imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic”.

At present, Blue Air is operating flights on demand to and from Dublin, Ireland and charter flights to any destinations that have all flight permissions.

For the booking of flights on demand during this period, passengers can choose their destination by using the dedicated section on the Blue Air website, Zboruri la cerere/ Flights on demand, where they can register for the flight. Shortly after the restrictions are lifted and the flight is activated, passengers will be announced about the potential dates for the flight and they can make the payment online.

After restrictions are lifted, the destinations to be operated again are: Belgium (Brussels), Cyprus (Larnaca), Denmark (Copenhagen), Finland (Helsinki), France (Paris, Nice, Lyon), Germany (Koln, Hamburg, Munich, Stuttgart), Ireland (Dublin), Israel (Tel Aviv), Italy (Rome, Florence, Milan, Turin, Naples), UK (London Liverpool), Norway (Oslo), Spain (Palma de Mallorca, Valencia, Malaga) and Sweden (Stockholm).

Moreover, after the restrictions are lifted in Italy and Cyprus, Blue Air will also resume the domestic flights in Italy ( from Turin to and from Catania, Lamenzia, Naples, Alghero, and Trapani) and Greece – Cyprus, on the routes Larnaca – Athens and Larnaca – Thessaloniki).
