Brico Depot Romania, part of London-based Kingfisher, one of Europe’s DIY retailer and interior design leaders, announced that it has successfully taken over 100 percent of Praktiker Romania’s shares from the Turkish Susli family.
This comes after Kingfisher announced in August that is planning to buy Praktiker Romania.

We want to help our customers improve their homes and personalize them and we are happy that more and more of them will benefit from good quality products at good prices. We will continue to invest in all our stores to improve our customers’ buying experience. We are also glad to grow the team in Romania,” Adela Smeu, CEO Brico Depot Romania, stated.
The Susli family bought the local operations of the retailer three years ago, after its German parent entered insolvency.
