The contract targets the modernization of the 1st Line (Pantelimon – Dristor), the 2nd Line (Berceni – Pipera) and 3rd Line (Dristor 1 – Preciziei), namely a total of 41 metro stations, as capital.ro informs.

More specifically, the project provides removing the toll facilities that currently equips subway stations and endowment with modern installations of automatic toll. The technological solution proposed is the contactless card, which, temporarily, will operate simultaneously with the current magnetic card.

Subsequent additions were added to the automatic toll communication network, servers, upgrade the equipment counter and vending machines in stations.

The acquisition will be financed with European funds and money from the state budget, the deadline for finalizing the agreement being in 260 days from the date of the award.
