Furla, the Italian luxury leather bag brand, as well as footwear, continues to expand on the Romanian market and opens two new stores, through a partnership with the Iulius group, a developer of malls and other real estate projects. On March 11, 2025, Furla inaugurated its first store outside Bucharest, in Palas Mall Iași.
The brand will also be present in Cluj-Napoca, within the Rivus project, still in development, where it will open both a monobrand store and a space within the Mamaquilla multibrand concept, according to a press release.
“The opening of the new Furla store in Iași marks a new step in our expansion, reaffirming our commitment to bringing Italian elegance and style closer to customers across the country. We look forward to this new chapter and future openings, including in Cluj,” said Cristian Negoiță, General Manager – Millenium Pro Design SRL.
The brand was founded in Bologna by Aldo Furlanetto in 1927 and is recognized globally for its minimalist design, varied color palette and quality Italian craftsmanship.
The company has over 1,600 points of sale globally, of which 1,200 are multi-brand stores. The mono-brand network is located in 100 countries, including 223 stores, of which 128 are own stores and 95 are outlets, 114 franchises including Furla in Bucharest and 39 travel retail locations.
