Automobile Dacia administration and Autoturisme Dacia trade union have completed the negotiations for a new collective labor agreement, the Romanian auto manufacturer informs on Friday in a press release.
The parties agreed an increase of RON 150 (5 percent) of the gross basic salary at operators level. Furthermore, all employees will receive a premium for the good financial results of 2015, amounting to RON 1,430, which is going to be paid in May.
“Workers in countries such as Poland, Slovakia and Czech Republic have average salaries at economy level, similar to those of Dacia’s operators. The objective of the Renault Group in Romania is to keep the industrial competitiveness, in terms of manufacturing activity on the platform in Mioveni, Arges County,” the release reads.
At end-2015, the average gross salary stood to RON 4,700, including basic salary, seniority / benefits, overtime and bonuses. The employees also receive bonuses for Easter, Christmas and vacation (which, overall, is another average salary per year), hot meal, meal vouchers, gift vouchers, subsidized transport, health insurance, tickets for rest and treatment and other aids. Dacia posted in 2015 new trading record, the sales volume reaching to 550.920 units, up by 7.7 percent compared to the level in the previous year.
