Deutsche Bank continues technology expansion in Romania. New hires, further offices enlargement

Deutsche Bank, through its technology center in Bucharest, DB Global Technology S.R.L., has achieved a new milestone and finished 2014 with hitting its planned employees target.

DB Global Technology starts the year on a high note, with an expanded team counting more than 200 IT&C specialists, of which more than 40 staff were hired in the last three months, a press release informs. The offices have now expanded to another floor in the same office building in Pipera Area, spreading over 6,000 square meters.

The company looks at a further hiring target of 300 specialists until 2016, in main areas such as quality assurance, software development, project management, IT architecture, functional/business analysis.

“In the past year we have been very much involved in recruitment, as we established a team of more than 200 staff in just one year. We are very pleased that we attracted some of the best people the IT&C sector has to offer. I believe this year will continue the trend, as we are targeting not only professionals with more than 5-7 years of experience, but we will start also to look at junior profiles,” said Iulia Cirmaciu, Head of HR at DB Global Technology.

Deutsche Bank’s technology center in Romania has been operational since January 2014 and will create up to 500 IT&C jobs in 2016. The center develops cutting-edge software for the bank’s global operations and represents a platform for highly skilled software engineers.
