The online retailer eMAG launches own brands Wink (mobile devices and accessories) and Star-Light (electronics and home appliances). Under the Wink brand, eMAG already sells tablets, and in the first half of 2015 the retailer is going to put on the market new models of mid-high range and seven models of smartphones, a press release informs.
“We estimate that in the first year after launching we will sell 20,000 Wink tablets and 20,000 Wink smartphones,” George Costache, Commercial Director of eMag’s private labels division says.
Thus, Wink One tablet which is fitted with Quad Core Allwinner A31S ARM Cortex A7 processor, with a frequency of 1000 MHz. The tablet has IPS display with a 7-inch diagonal and a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. The new tablet has a 1024 MB RAM memory, an 8GB of storage space and is equipped with Android v4.4.2 KitKat OS.
Wink Connect 3G tablet has a Quad Core processor, MTK8382, with a frequency of 1300 MHz. The tablet features an IPS display with 7 inch diagonal and 1024 x 600 pixels resolution. Connect Wink tablet has a 1024 MB RAM memory, 8GB storage space and Android 4.2.2 Jellybean operating system.
The latest release is Elite Wink 7.85 tablet with Cortex A7 1.3GHz Quad Core processor and 7.85 inch IPS display which provides a good visibility from any angle. Its16 GB storage capacity can be increased to 32GB with a Micro SD card. Elite Wink tablet is fitted with Google Android 4.4 operating system.
Under its Star-Light brand, eMAG launched at 2014 year-end small home appliances products range. Earlier this year, the online retailer added three TVs models in its portfolio, and in the coming months, new models of televisions, audio equipment and large appliances will be released under the same umbrella brand.
