evoMAG moves to new headquarters and invests in a new showroom

Local IT retailer evoMAG opens new headquarters, as well as a new showroom on Splaiul Unirii in Bucharest and also doubles the warehouse capacity, a press release informs on Tuesday.

This comes following the company’s sales growth and at the same time, as part of evoMAG strategy to prepare for Black Friday and for the busiest season of the year. The relocation involved a total investment of EUR 100,000. “The increase in sales of evoMAG has imposed this measure. We needed to move to the next level, allowing us to work with larger stocks, to be more flexible, have a better turnover and to deliver faster the products to customers,” Mihai Patrascu, CEO evoMAG.ro said.

According to him, about 35 percent of all evoMAG orders are picked up from the showroom. “We expect this share to increase by 15 percent,” Patrascu added.

evoMAG’s move is designed to support a turnover of over EUR 20 million in 2016, up by almost 20 percent, exceeding the annual rate of the local e-commerce market development.

evoMAG is one of the leading IT&C player in Romania, active with a wide range of products ranging from smartphones, laptops, PC components, a.s.o.
