Filbo launches financing solution for state payments

Filbo, the online micro crediting solution of OMRO IFN, introduces a new credit product to support the activity of small entrepreneurs. Approximately 50.000 entrepreneurs owe state taxes of over 10.000 RON, which can significantly impact their activity. In this context, the fintech provides entrepreneurs who own PFA, II, or IF companies or perform liberal professions a 100% online product for the installment of annual fees in 3 or 6 payments, with ZERO interest and a single fixed commission for granting.

The FilboTax product can be accessed by those who perform a liberal profession or own a PFA, II, or IF, with at least 12 months of activity, incomes of over 10.000 RON, and no negative payments history. The application process is carried out online in just a few minutes using only two documents: the account statement for the last three months and the Single Income Statement for 2022.

“the FilboTax product responded to entrepreneurs’ needs, who previously requested tax installment financing. We have now implemented a transparent method with a fixed granting commission and zero interest. We directly pay the taxes on behalf of the companies, providing them afterward with the proof of payment”, says Andrei Dogaru, Filbo Head of Product.

Paying taxes can be difficult, especially for owners of PFAs with real system taxation. By using this method of taxation, companies pay 10% of their net income to the government, which means that this amount can vary from year to year.

Aside from workforce issues and the ever-changing legislative regulations, paying taxes is one of the challenges small enterprises face. We estimate that 50.000 entrepreneurs have to pay the state over 10.000 RON in taxes, which, paid in full, can put significant pressure on the companies’ activity. Through FilboTax, we take care of the tax payment so that they can easily overcome financial challenges, continue to invest in developing their businesses, and adapt easily to changes, quickly and efficiently, without leaving the comfort of their homes”, adds Andrei Dogaru.

Until now, the entrepreneurs who requested financing for tax payments to the state operate in areas such as IT, e-commerce, and marketing. The requests made by freelancers represented approximately 60% of total requests.
