Banca Comerciala Romana (BCR) has announced that it will stop the computer system that manages card operations on the night of Friday to Saturday (October 12-13, 2018) for works.
“On October 13, 2018, 00:00h to October 13, 2018 at 04:00h, the card system will be turned off. BCR cards could not be used in the BCR network and in other networks. During the mentioned interval, the BCR equipment could not be used: ATMs, MFMs, POS,” a press release issued by BCR reads.
The transactions in ASVs will not be affected, and APT transactions can only be performed with barcode authentication. Thus, for these latter transactions, the BCR authentication by card cannot be used.
