ROBOR increases again, reaches 7.29%

The 3-month ROBOR index rose to 7.29% on Thursday, from 7.20% on Wednesday, according to data by the National Bank of Romania (BNR). 
The 6-month ROBOR index, used to calculate interest rates on lei mortgages with variable interest rates, rose to 7.39% on Thursday, compared to 7.36% on Wednesday, while the 12-month ROBOR reached 7.44%, from 7.41% a day earlier. At the beginning of the week, the index was quoted at 7.31%, after which, on Tuesday, it fell to 7.20%.
Also on Thursday, the 6-month ROBOR index, used to calculate interest rates on lei mortgages with variable interest rates, rose to 7.39%, compared to 7.36% on Wednesday, while the 12-month ROBOR reached 7.44%, from 7.41% a day earlier.
