The dollar went up on Tuesday by five bani to RON 4.1279, hitting a new record high for the fifth consecutive session, following the strengthening of the dollar on foreign markets, while the EUR fell by 0.04 bani to RON 4.4435.
The reference exchange rate for EUR, published by the central bank on Monday, was of RON 4.4439 and the rate for the USD of RON 4.0779.
The Swiss Franc climbed 1.4 bani from RON 4.1481 to RON 4.1621.
On foreign markets, the dollar has appreciated by 1% to EUR 0.9303, while the CHF stood at EUR 0.9346.
