Mercatrom Alimentacion SL, partner of Romanian cosmetics producer ‘Farmec’ in Barcelona, recently inaugurated its first store under the domestic brand in Spain, a press release informs.
Located on Carrer Provença, a very accessible area to the public, near the center of the metropolis, the new store awaits its visitors in a modern space, inspired by the already existing design in all Farmec stores in the country or abroad.
According to Doru and Crina Rosu, owners of Mercatrom Alimentacion SL, the opening of new Farmec brand store in Barcelona, one of the most appreciated cities in the world by tourists from everywhere, was in response to the demands of increasingly large Romanian cosmetic products from local residents, tourists and Romanians settled in Spain.
This is the third Farmec store opened abroad this year, after when other units were launched in France (Menton) and Greece (Alexandroupoli).
In 2014, two Farmec stores were opened in Greece, Thessaloniki and Katerini. First Farmec unit was opened abroad in 2003 in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.
In Romania, Farmec owns six stores in Cluj-Napoca, Arad, Timisoara and Targu Mures.
Its visitors can find on the shelves of the new store Farmec brands preferred by consumers all over the world, including the ranges Gerovital H3 Derma+, Gerovital H3 Classic and Gerovital H3 Retinol (reinventing the formula of the first anti-ageing cosmetics in the world), Gerovital H3 Evolution, Aslavital, Farmec Argan Plus, as well as the products dedicated to men’s care – Gerovital H3 Men.
The company’s products are distributed in over 30 countries, and the main markets are in: Japan, Hungary, Poland, Republic of Moldova, Iraq, Kuwait, Greece, and Canada. In the last two years, the export strategy focused on the reinforcement of the distribution in the neighboring countries.
