In the coming weeks, France-based DBT, one of the European players in fast charging terminals, will install its first 50kW units for electric vehicles (E.V.) in Romania, following a partnership with Telekom Romania, as a press release informs.
DBT did not specify where the first station in Romania will be installed, but it is targeting a rapid growth on the domestic market.
”We are delighted that our joint efforts have been successful. This new order strengthens DBT’s position in Eastern Europe, where we are expanding our installations, especially in Hungary and Slovakia. In each country, we bring the same level of service and availability thanks to robust design, constant connectivity and strict monitoring of our installation and maintenance partners. We expect more orders from Romania and plan to deliver about 50 charging units in 2018,” Hervé Borgoltz, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of DBT, stated.
All DBT charging stations are developed and manufactured at the industrial facility in Douai in the north of France, and 95 percent of its industrial partners and suppliers are French or European.
Set up in 1990, DBT is an industry reference in professional electrical equipment (access controlstations, power distribution units, current transformers) and one of the main European players in high-speed charging stations for electric vehicles.
The group designs, manufactures and sells one of the most high-performance and comprehensive ranges of charging stations on the market, with standard (3 to 8 hours), semi-fast (1 to 3 hours) and fast-charging (20 to 30 minutes) terminals that are adapted to all types of uses and needs. At of 31st December 2016, DBT had a network of 17, 899 charging stations, 2,212 of which are high-speed stations. DBT serves more than 575 active clients such as Auchan, Autogrill, BP, EDF, Eurotunnel, Ikea, McDonald’s, Nissan, Sodetrel, and the cities of Bordeaux, Paris, Neuilly-sur-Seine, etc.
