Miele, the German family-run company and leading manufacturer of premium household appliances worldwide, decided to open a store in Sibiu, being the third exclusively store in Romania, after Cluj and Brasov.
According to a press release, the new store has 50 square meters, centrally located and exposes all categories of Miele products available in Romania: from consumables and accessories, to large and small integrated appliances, ironing systems and freestanding espresso.
“The opening of Miele Store Sibiu is part of the development strategy in Transylvania, which is for us, the most important region in terms of sales,” Loredana Butnaru, Miele Romania sales director stated and continued: “In recent years, we have grown significantly in this area, where the brand is known and well positioned among consumers who are aware of market trends and have the required incomes to purchase premium products.”
In the first six months since its inauguration, the new unit is expected to generate revenues estimated at around EUR 150,000 selling appliances. Besides Miele appliances, the store sells also kitchen furniture under other brands.
