2015 started encouraging for one of the most important players on the Romanian market of tourism services. In the first four months of this year, Christian Tour recorded an annual sales growth of about 20 percent, an increase in line with the plans announced by the tour operator in February, namely a rise in turnover from EUR 52 million in 2014 to EUR 63 million this year.
“Moreover, (…) until end-April, 38 percent of tourists estimated for this year have already purchased a sojourn from Christian Tour,” Marius Pandel, CEO of Christian Tour said, according to press release.
Also, an achievement of the 2015 for the charter operator is getting the distinction “Best Travel Agency of the Year”, recently obtained at the Excellence in Tourism Awards in the TopHotel Conference.
Christian Tour decided also to change the headquarters of its operational centre, which will integrate all the Group’s brands: Pegas Holidays, Europa Travel, Vuelo.ro a.s.o.
At the same time, in addition to the existing departments, it will appear a new one, dedicated exclusively to the corporate segment.
On the other hand, the CEO of Christian Tour just returned from a business trip to Japan, where he met with local travel agents for the purposes of attracting Japanese tourists in Romania.
