The budget of the companies operating in Romania for social media marketing campaigns range from EUR 1,000 to over EUR 10,000 per year, with the lowest budgets coming from commerce and food industry companies, while the highest being allotted by media, telecom, IT and bank companies.
According to a study conducted by Valoria Business Solutions, most of the commerce companies (31%) have budgets ranging from EUR 1,000 to EUR 3,000 per year for social media marketing, likewise the companies in the foodstuff sector (30%).
Budgets ranging from EUR 5,000 to EUR 10,000/per year are in the tourism industry (25%) and industry production (24%). Most of the budgets for social media marketing, worth over EUR 10,000 per year are met at media and advertising companies (33%), telecom and IT (30%) and financial and bank services (29%).
339 respondents representing 14 industries have participated in the study, among whom there were 16% CEOs, Presidents, General Managers, and 70% being Marketing Directors/Managers/ Specialists.
According to Like & Share 2017 study, the efficiency of the marketing on social media networks is acknowledged by 80% of the companies. 63% of them admit social media is an efficient tool to create sale opportunities, but only 3 in 10 do use social media for sales.
The marketing ranks first on social media activities for the companies in: industrial production (27%), finance-banking services (24%) and foodstuff industry (21%).
The competitive analysis is important for: telecom/IT (15%), tourism (12%), energy and utilities (10%).
Client service through social media are a priority for the foodstuff industry (17%), constructions/real estate (15%), commerce (13%) and finance-banking services (13%).
Sales are most represented in the commerce (19%), finance-banking services (11%) and media/advertising (11%).
