Hungary’s KÉSZ Signs €11M Contracts for First Romanian Housing Project

The KÉSZ company, one of the largest construction groups in Hungary, which is building the first residential project on the Romanian market in Bucharest, announced that it has signed pre-contracts of over 57 million lei, or 11.4 million euros.
Hungarian developer KÉSZ has announced the signing of pre-contracts for 61 of the over 220 apartments under construction in the Corallis project in Bucharest. The value of the apartments sold exceeds 11 million euros. The most valuable apartment sold was a four-room penthouse with a lake view and a roof terrace for 530,000 euros plus VAT.
KÉSZ Romania purchased a 16,000 sq m plot of land near Petrom City in Bucharest in 2021 and announced plans to build the company’s first residential project locally, joining the list of builders that have started residential projects. Other builders developing residential complexes include Concelex, Erbașu Construcții and Bog’Art.
The KÉSZ Group also owns a class A office building in Cluj-Napoca, with an area of ​​21,100 sq m and a modern production unit with expansion potential in Turda, further consolidating its presence and expertise on the local real estate market.
Kesz has numerous landmark projects in its portfolio on the Romanian market, including: One Herastrău Park Residence, Dacia One, the central administrative headquarters of Banca Transilvania, Tradecenter, Nymphaea Aquapark Wellness&Thermal SPA and Hexagon Offices.
