In the first month of 2018, In January, Romania exported medical and pharmaceutical products worth EUR 65.5 million, up by 1.8 percent than in the same period last year, according to data centralized by the National Institute of Statistics (INS).
At the same time, the imports of medical and pharmaceutical products amounted to EUR 210.6 million, 3.2 percent higher than in January 2017, thus a EUR 145.1 million deficit on this segment.
In January 2018, FOB exports amounted to EUR 5.423 billion and increased by 15.9 percent compared to January 2017, while CIF imports totaled EUR 6.198 billion, up 17.3 percent.
