Intrarom, the Romanian subsidiary of Intracom Telecom, was awarded on the 30th of October with the Excellence Award in the “Advanced Technologies for Intelligent Cities and Buildings” category for the pilot project recently implemented in the municipality of Alba Iulia during the Smart Cities of Romania Champions 2018 event Gala.
The event concluded this year’s edition with an Awards Gala, featuring the relevant intelligent projects at a local level. The event brought together 300 participants representing public administrations, governmental bodies, technological partners, as well as key profile professional associations and educational institutions active in the development of intelligent cities in Romania. The duly selected panel of judges consisted of academic personalities from energy organizations and associations, representatives of Bucharest Polytechnic University, ITS Events Management, the Romanian Association for Security Technique (ARTS), the Romanian Intelligent Transport Systems Implementation Organization (ITS SA) and the Romanian National Committee of the World Energy Council (CNR-CME).
