McDonald’s Romania takes over three fast food restaurants in Brasov

Fast food restaurant chain McDonald’s Romania has received the approval of the Competition Council to buy three franchised restaurants in Brasov, a press release informs.

The transaction amount was not disclosed.

The three units – DT, Postavarul and Carrefour Brasov – were owned by Adrian Danes and Adrian Restaurante SRL.

McDonald’s has invested over RON 700 million in 20 years since the first store of the international biggest restaurant chain in Romania. In 2015, the number of visits to McDonald’s restaurants increased by 7 percent to over 4.5 million customers per month. The company has 67 restaurants in 21 Romanian cities.
