In the first ten months of 2017, Romania exported medical and pharmaceutical products amounting to EUR 640.4 million, 7.2 percent higher than in the same period of the previous year, according to data centralized by the National Institute of Statistics (INS).
At the same time, the imports amounted to EUR 2.502 billion, up 8 percent compared to January-October 2016, a deficit of EUR 1.862 billion on this segment.
In the first ten months of 2017, Romania’s FOB exports stood at EUR 52.361 billion and increased by 9.2 percent compared to the previous year, while CIF imports amounted to EUR 62.583 billion, up 12.4 percent.
