New car registrations went up in February by almost 21% as compared with the same period in 2013, up to 6281 units, the statistics of the Directorate for Driving and Vehicle Registration (DRPCIV) published on Friday reveal.
In terms of brands preferred by Romanians, Dacia continued to remain leader with 1,275 units registered in the second month of 2015, by 39.71% more than in the same period last year. The following places were ranked: Skoda (455 units, + 10.98%), Volkswagen (339 units, + 8.65%) and Ford (245 units, -46.51%).
