New Ericsson Country Manager for Romania. It’s a first for the company…

As of November 1, Ericsson, one of the leading IT & C companies on domestic market, appoints Dragos Mircea Rebegea as Country Manager for Romania, being the first Romanian to take up this position and to coordinate the company’s activities in the country, as a press release informs.

He was also appointed responsible for Ericsson’s sales teams in Romania and Rep. of Moldova.

”Romania is one of Europe’s most dynamic telecoms markets,” Dragos Mircea Rebegea stated, adding: “I’m thrilled to lead a highly talented local team, helped by a 4G, 5G, cloud and top IoT services portfolio, bringing my contribution to the digital transformation of Romania and Moldova and thus contributing to the development of the economy of both countries “.

With more than 21 years of experience in the telecom industry, of which the last 17 years at Ericsson, Rebegea has held several leading positions in the South Eastern Europe in technical sales and general management, including Ericsson Country Manager Albania between 2012-2015 and Key Account Manager for Telekom Romania.

He holds a Master’s degree in Electric Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Bucharest and is a graduate of ASEBUSS Executive MBA program, Kenessaw State University, Atlanta.
