New investments of almost EUR 3 M in Arsenal Park Orastie

Romanian Marius and Emil Cristescu have invested RON 12.5 million (EUR 2.7 million) in a SPA center and a multifunctional gym in the Arsenal Park tourist complex in Orastie, Hunedoara County.

Brothers Cristescu expect the complex to receive 100,000 visitors this year, after recording 50,000 visitors last year.

Thus, the investments made by the two entrepreneurs in this complex, opened in 2009, amounts to EUR 20 million.

For the development of the adventure infrastructure, the businessmen took European funds. Except aqua park – spa center, multifunctional gym, the whole project financed with European money targeted investments in playground for children, trail for climbing trees, bike and ride trail, rink, skate park, a leisure center for horse riding and, not least, a tower for extreme sports.

Arsenal Park is the only tourist complex based on a military concept in Romania and the South-Eastern Europe, providing accommodation for 230 guests.

Built on a former ammunition factory, this holiday complex covers 88 hectares and is like an open-air Military Musem, a territory of great adventures to set the adrenalin on. Arsenal Park hosts military training, archery, airsoft and paintball gun target shooting, airsoft and paintball fights, armoured rides, draisine competitions, using golf cars, mountainbikes, citybikes, Jeep Wrangler Go Kart bikes and Segway. Sports fans have their own multifunctional ground, as well as a minigolf course and a fitnesspark, while indoors they can play billiards, darts, poker, table tennis or table football.
