The Association of Automobile Manufacturers in Romania (ACAROM) has announced on Friday that 203,670 vehicles have been manufactured by the factory in Mioveni.
According to ACAROM figures, most of the vehicles assembled this year are Duster (126,271 units), followed by Logan MCV (25,816 units), Sandero (29,518 units) and Logan (22,065 units). To this production it adds 29,708 units that left the Renault group in Mioveni in the form of SKDs (semi-assembled car bodies shipped to Algeria).
In the same period of the year 210,524 vehicles were manufactured by Dacia Automobile, down against 223,337 in 2015. Despite this temporary decrease in production, it is expected that this autumn the number of cars shipped from Mioveni will increase once the preparations for launching the new generation Dacia Duster are completed, which will be launched on Tuesday at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
