Train tickets may be purchased online at least 6 hours before the train leaves, since Wednesday, against 12 hours as before, CFR Călători (Passengers) informs.
According to the cited source, tickets for domestic traffic can be purchased in advance, up to 30 days before the trip.
The company also emphasizes that passengers are not required to print their online ticket, identification on the train being made with the ticket code.
“Passenger ticket printing is not mandatory! Train identification is based on the ID (code) of the electronic ticket that can be written/photographed and an official identity document (ID card, passport, license of residence),” the press release reads.
